SYNULOX – 250 mg – 10 tablets

Active substance: foil blisters 5 x 2 tablets of 250 mg – 200 mg amoxicillin; 50 mg of clavulanic acid.

Types of animals for which the Veterinary Medical Product is intended: Dogs and cats.

Unique composition – double action of clavulanate – potentiated amoxicillin. Highly effective – the unique composition of Sinulox increases the healing effect compared to ordinary amoxicillin. Extended spectrum of action – clavulanic acid potentiates the action of amoxicillin, making it active against resistant ?-lactamase-producing strains of Staphylococci, E, coli, Vasteroides, Salmonellae, and also Klebsiella species Kills bacteria quickly – increases the possibility of a rapid clinical effect. Easy to use – the exceptional taste of the tablets allows them to be willingly accepted by dogs and cats.

Round pink colored tablets scored on one side and labeled Synulox on the other side. Each tablet contains clavulanic acid – as potassium salt, amoxicillin – as amoxicillin trihydrate and a flavored excipient.

Indications: ‘Synulox’ tablets have a wide spectrum of bactericidal activity: a) In vitro it is active against a wide range of clinically significant aerobic and anaerobic bacteria: Gram-positive: Staphylococci (including ?-lactamase producing) Сlostridia, Corynebacteria, Streptococci, Peptostreptococcus spp .; Gram-negative: Bacteroides spp., E. coli, Salmonellae, Campylobacter spp., Fusobacterium necrophorum; Bordetella bronchiseptica; Klebsiellae; Pasreurellae; Proteus spp. b) it is clinically effective against a large number of diseases in dogs and cats such as: skin diseases incl. superficial and deep pyoderma, soft tissue diseases, abscesses and inflammation of the anal glands, dental infections, incl. and gingivitis, urinary tract infections, respiratory diseases of both upper and lower respiratory tracts, enteritis.

Contraindications: Do not apply to rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters.

Dose and method of administration: For dogs and cats – orally directly or mixed with a little food. The daily dose for 1 kg/wt. is 25 mg divided into two doses every 12 hours or 2 times a day at 12.5 mg/kg of weight. In more persistent and severe cases, the dose can be doubled! In chronic and/or more persistent cases, a longer treatment is recommended: Chronic skin disease 10-20 days; Chronic cystitis 10-28 days; Respiratory infections 8-10 days.
