Description

Active substances: Pyrantel – 8,4 grams; Praziquantel – 3 grams
Species for which the VMP -Veterinary Medicinal Product is intended: Only for domestic pigeons whose meat and eggs are not intended for human consumption.

Therapeutic indications: For the treatment and prevention of internal parasites in pigeons. A suitable combination of effective active substances. Pyrantel: an anthelmintic used in infestations with pinworms and roundworms. Effective against mature and immature forms of sensitive helminths. Praziquantel: Extremely effective against teniosis.

Dosage and method of administration: Administered orally by drinking water, 10 grams per 2 liters of water for  1 day, or food – 10 grams per food for 40 pigeons, trough every 30-45 days.

Withdrawal periods: Not required.

Side effects: No side effects were observed in pigeons treated at therapeutic doses.

Dosage and administration: It is administered orally, directly, and individually for each animal in a dose of 1 capsule per head in the morning and evening for 5-7 days.

Overdose (symptoms, emergency procedures, antidotes): Adverse reactions, photosensitization, and intestinal dysbacteriosis may occur. If any serious effects or other effects are observed due to the use of this VMP, please inform your veterinary surgeon immediately.

Special precautions to be taken by the animals when using the product: The use of the product must comply with the requirements of official and local regulations for the use of antimicrobials.

Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the VMP to animals: People with known hypersensitivity to the active substance should avoid contact with the VMP. Wash hands after use. Do not eat, drink, or smoke during use.

Special precautions for storage: Store in the original package in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight, at a temperature below 25 ° C. Keep out of reach of children!

Special precautions for the disposal of unused product or waste material, if any: VMP should not be disposed of with household waste or wastewater. Ask your veterinarian what to do with unnecessary VMPs. Any VMP or its remnants should be disposed of following the requirements of the Waste Management Act.
