DOXINOCID – 100 tablets
Active substance: Doxycycline 50 mg
Excipients: Starlac, Magnesium stearate, Silica colloidalis anhidrica.
Species of animals for which VMP – Veterinary Medical Product is intended: only for domestic pigeons, whose meat and eggs are not intended for human consumption.
Quarantine period: not required.
Therapeutic indications: For the treatment and prevention of colibacillosis (Escherichia coli), mycoplasmosis (Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma columborale), ornithosis (Chlamydophila psittaci), other types of pneumonia, general bacterial infections and diarrhea.
Undesirable side effects: No side effects were observed in pigeons treated at therapeutic doses. Very rarely, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea are possible in case of overdose.
Dosage: It is administered orally, directly and individually for each animal in a dose of ¼ tablet for each pigeon every 12 hours for 5 – 7 days. In the absence of clinical improvement within 2–3 days, therapy should be changed based on sensitivity testing.
Special storage conditions: to be stored in the original packaging in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight, at a temperature below 25˚C.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Do not eat, drink or smoke during use. Wash your hands thoroughly after use.
Special measures for disposal of unused product: this product must not be disposed of with household waste or domestic water. Ask your veterinarian how to dispose of the unwanted product in accordance with the Waste Management Act.
